It's all Emma's fault

Post by AnneMarie » Thu Mar 08, 2007 9:20 am

Hello my name is Anne Marie and I am a Loch Addict.

Here I was enjoying my clowns, doing a little research (Ok a lot). I then stumbled onto a website called Loaches Online (queue music). That is where my story becomes tragic. I saw pictures of the most amazing clowns, and my dream tank. I can’t concentrate at work, I think about them all the time. What cute and wonderful things are they doing now? What am I missing? I have even thought of setting up a web cam so I can watch them at work.

I have since realized that I will not be happy until I too have a large shoal of clowns and a giant tank. So I thought to show you all fellow addicts (don’t bother to deny it) my newest fix.

I was got addicted when I 1st clicked on Bob's loaches

Loachaholic over at aquatic-hobbyist.com only made my problem worse.

Then Graeme and Martin lured me over to LOL, and Emma set the hook.

I avoid looking at them when I am in the LFS. I read these posts I know where that road goes.

I've been thinking alot about hillstreams. I do want them. If they can survive the higher temps of the clown loach tanks, there would be no question about me getting them someday.

Do any hillstreams like 79-83F water?

Thank you Helen. I have been very picky about where I get my Clowns from. I find to often they either have ich, skinny, or are pale and unattractive. I drove over an hour to get the new little ones. It was worth the trip though.

Now if i could just find some Botia Striata.

You know, I think it is all Emmas fault....

I have a bad case of loach envy and its a good thing that she isn't in the states or I would have already filed a lawsuit citing "cruel and unusual punishment . I'm wondering if I could do that in the EU living in the US...hmmmmmm...

Cheers,

Kevin
