Ok, here are some pictures I took with my new camera. I am still not accustomed to using an SLR fully with all the manual features but here is the start.

Excellent stuff. I particularly like the shot of the Schistura and B. almorhae together.

What sort of flash are you using (is it built-in or an off-camera/remote unit)?

I am currently usining the built in flash but most of the time I have to deflect the light or turn town the power of the flash or use a diffuser that I recently bought for $15. I am in need of an external flash because I have seen, read and like the results and I love doing macro work. At the moment, the one I want is too pricey but it will be coming soon.

Yea, he was real stressed out and pale here and his tubercles had almost vanished a few days after that. This is when the tank was new and he spent all his waking hours swimming against tha glass as if to get out and he even did some jumping. He also stressed me out!! He looks brighter red now more than he has ever been so I call him BR.
