Loach and Tank

If I have 7 Botia sp. aff rostrata loaches that grow to a max size of 5 inches and they are currently 1.5 inches in a 20 Gallon, and i have a 55 gallon for them to move into once they grow, is that too overstocked on the 20 Gallon for now though? Their tankmates are currently tetras btw, about 5 of them. Please let me know

Hi!!
How soon do you plan to move them to the 55gal?
I would think that you would be OK for a little while, at least till your 55 cycles. Maybe others will have some more advice for you.

I'd think they'd be fine as long as you keep up with the water changes. How long do you plan to qtank for?
