This is one of the 2 new babies still in the bag.

New baby taking a break.

New baby in the front with one of the larger kubotai.

Another size comparison pic.

Just a weird photo showing the flexibily of the kobutai.

And Lastly this is one of my clowns.
I found these guys at a very tiny lfs I have never ventured too, they didnt know what they were other than "Loach Fish" 5.99 each. I bought both they had, they have been there for over a month, I skipped the QT as it is currently a rivertank QT with my vannies in it. Only fish in the tank, no ich.
Let me know what you think,
Tom

The new kubotai have caused the older ones to chase each other around in circles fighting, I guess it is just re-establishing pecking order?Any opinions?

The LFS that I go to often has a ton of skunks and yoyos, they sold out of historonicas, but when they get more in, I have 6 on reserve

Lovely, Tom.

I'd say you were correct, the dominant fish now have more little ones to 'boss around' so they are probably just re-establishing who is in charge.

Still a little clicking going on but the whole troop is now settled down. The existing alpha kubotai is the same as before although all the fish including the 2 12"+ plecos bow the the alpha clown. the only one who has a slight attitude is the rainbow shark, but he knows his place.
From the pattern on the little guys do they appear to you to be kubotai or could they be something different? I saw pictures in this post
http://forums.loaches.com/viewtopic.php?t=5707 where I thought all were kubotai, but the loach experts said rostrata. what do you think about my new ones kubs or rostrata?
