What am I? Am I worth $7.50? Will I get along with clowns, zebras, kubotai?
I am labeled as "Red-lipped Seven Banded Tiger Loach".

I looked in the species index, and could not find this guy. I took the pic with my phone at the lfs so it's not the best quality.

Sinobotia robusta.
I have never kept this species, but it comes from cooler waters than the other species.

You are too good Jim!

I searched for the word tiger and found nothing similar.

Sounds kinda like a rivertank would be sufficient, maybe in the future.

I keep 3 of these chaps. Monitor them with caution! They tend to carry some aggression on there shoulders.

Yes, I'd concur. They are not as aggressive as the Tiger Botia (Syncrossus) group, but they are a bit too nasty to go in with placid species such as B. striata and clowns in my opinion. They are a very beautiful loach though, and not seen all that often, so if you could squeeze an extra tank in somewhere!.......

I had one years ago in a River-Tank. It got on ok with some Schistura species, but they are somewhat feisty. that particular one is a fine looking fish. No way I would put them in with sucker-bodied hillies though.

I would not put them in with the hillies.

I saw some Robusta at the market for the first time last week. They are beautiful fish.
