Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know I am TB free...thank goodness. Whatever this is on my arm is clearing up really well so I am in the clear. Thanks to all of you who posted and sent links and words of comfort...it scared me to death...have lost almost all the fish but from what I hear it is almost impossible to treat. They were doing better but took a bad turn yesterday. Guess I will have to start over with my guppies.

I am still bummed about loosing my clowns a month or so back...they really stole my heart. New tank coming next weeked and I am looking forward to having some more of those sweet little guys.

Thanks again,
Kris

The only thing you have got, Kris, is aquarium addiction.

PHEW! Good to hear.
Boy, once that new tank arrives I bet we're going to hear lots from you on asking for ideas/advice. It will give you much more scope.

Martin.

My number one symptom is staying in trouble with the hubby, hehe! He is not quite the fish fan that I am, but HE WILL COME AROUND!!! Actually he did love the baby clowns we lost.

Thanks Loachmom,
Kris

if you got alot of little red bumps on your arm after you cleaned the tank
it prolly was just an irritation from your arm rubbing on the plastic trim
i get it all the time

i dunno if you clean with your tops on or off but off gives you more room without the rubbing on the plastic

i woulda mention this in your other post but i didnt wanna steer you away from getting checked

i get it all the time cleaning my sump
as the space is so small and im so big

i would also recommend something for your new tank
dont use anything from your old tanks not even fish
my friend had a JINXED 55 gallon
everything that could go wrong did
and nothing ever lived longer then 3 days in it
one day when he wasnt home me and a buddy went there
took the tank apart
and destroyed it
a week later we replaced it for him
and now he has some beautiful fish
this was about a year ago
and nothing has died yet
no ick no fungus
no broken filter or powerhead
nothing
just a well running tank

sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and start over

That's great news. I think over worrying is a critical part of the fish hobby. I hope you put shoulder length gloves and a few small Hospital Q-tank's on the top of your shopping list.
