This fish tourtured me today. These things are really hard to catch without damaging them. After two months of Q he gets to move into the large river tank. Fingers crossed. Hes gonna be hard to find for any more pictures.

Nice pic!
And yes, he will be very hard to photograph again. Too bad these guys are so shy.
I just saw five nice ones and a fish store in town, but I was strong. I already have two very large specimens and don't need anymore. But then again, when does that usually stop me.

Jim, when you say "very large," how large do you mean?

Both mine are about 2.5" (6.4cm) and very thick.
So actually, I would say they are just large. Ken had a pic of one that was VERY large at 4" (10cm).

This fish is the sole survivor of the six that I picked up quite some time ago. The others did not do well. All kinds of fungal infections than gone. I have delayed moving this guy because I did not want to stress it too much. Needless to say everything in the tank is stressed. Yikes what a pain. I will be looking for him but in a 150 its gonna be tough. Thanks for the compliments. Good to hear form you Jim. I have tons of angelfish fry and eggs. My time has been limited.
