dead sid

Yesterday I found 1 of my sids dead, I'm very bummed out. His color was still good so it hadn't been all that long. One side of his abdomen was slightly pink. Bacteria? Changed some water & found a dead rasbora with a chewed tail.
All seemed ok Thursday so whatever it is, it was fast. I would not have expected the loach to die so quickly from eating a newly dead tankmate. The only thing different I can think of is feeding frozen cyclops on Wed. but I gave it to all 4 tanks.
Tank is 75g with sids, striatas, SAE, rasboras & otos, nothing new for 3 months(plants). Params pH 7.2, temp 77, nitrates 5-10, nitrites 0,amm. 0.
Anyway I just needed to whine & hope this isn't a tank plague type thing.
