Is this common for Sewellia's

First off hi all! I have read a bit out here but can't really find the answer I am looking for or I am blind..lol
I have 2 Sewellia's in a 10 gallon tank, is it common for them (both females as far as I can tell) to nose push each other? They seem to do it at least once a day.

Most hillstreams engage in this type of behavior.
Its a dominance thing.

No, its just a hillstream thing.
However, it looks like those pics are of a female (top) and a male (bottom)

Ok, I am blind how can you tell that is a male? I thought that had 'gates' on the fins and I don't seem them?
Sorry for all the 'stupid' questions. I just found these guys and thing they are the coolest fish I have ever seen.
