I just got in two aquaclear 70 powerheads and I put one in the hillstream tank

Its been there about an hour and its bedlam in the tank.

Everyone seems to be enjoying it and I've either seen some spawning or fighting. I've taken a few pics and a short movie.

Great video I see my cheni scrapping fairly frequently, but it's less of shoving match, and more of a scramble to get on top of the other guy, with a lot of zooming up and down the tank. Its very cool to see the way different species interact.

What I think they are doing is the foreplay, it seems that the female lost interest before the "main event".

Cool video! It looks like normal territorial jousts to me.
Notice how one fish seems to be trying to get under the fin edge of the other. Maybe that's to get the fish to lose its grip on the surface. In the wild that would mean it would get washed downstream and out of the way.
