Very nice!

You sure they are both "she's"? The fish on the second photo feels like a male to me.

Coooooool! 8) Glad to see they are settling in so well. The body pattern in that last shot is fab, especially more so now that she's darkened down.

mikev, the fish in the 2nd pic is a B. rostrata (maybe the one Helen also picked up at the same time as the 2 XL yo-yos?).

thanks for all your comments :D

Betsy is the one with a dodgy eye, and bertha is the biggest one.

that rostrata is the one that grew out of being a yoyo - the new one is in my 2nd tank - helping to get it ready for the dwarf corys and microrasboras i have had my eye on for ages. i was worried about a big fight, so i just put the yoyo loaches in the main tank in case. at least the old fish know the hidey holes - as you see in the bottom of the 2nd pic  mad fish.

Emma that darkest yoyo is one of the originals - the angle of the shot makes her (?) look fatter and you cant appreciate how big Bertha is as she is busy rooting out scaredy loaches  . they are both darkening up, but no where near as dark as the other one in the photo. they are best buddies - no signs of fighting between the 2 of them :D they are wonderfull to keep so far. thanks Emma for saving them back for me. if you ever see the person that broutght them in to you, say thanks to them from me.
