I caught these guys from Eastern Thailand. They were light grey at first. They were put in white box during transportation and this is how they look like when they freshly out of the box. I wish they stay like this all the time. Anyone have seen any other species of
Pangio that can change color like this?? Btw, any though on what species this might be?

Stunning fish Nonn
Is that an extention on the top of the tail or is it a mark on the rock behind

colour aside, they remind me of Emmas "panda" kuhlis. Big eyes.
nice fish!

Neat looking Pangio. For some reason i'm thinking juvenile Pangio fusca. Maybe a variant from the brown, but the lack of seeing a nasal barbel and a Pangio from eastern Thailand suggests Pangio fusca or indeed a New species.
Interesting!

Beautiful specimen, Nonn.

I myself have not noted colour changes like this in kuhlis, but have seen such a phenomenon with juvenile
Misgurnus.

Pretty little fish. It definitely appears that the upper lobe of the caudal has extended rays.
