Just cleaned out the external filter on the river tank and found this Sewellia lineolata fry in the bottom under the trays:

This was a surprisingly big fry, so I decided to put it straight into the main river tank as it didn't really need to be grown on. I've since seen it on the side glass and put a ruler up to it, and it's exactly 22mm TL. 8)

At least this shows they are still spawning, I thought they might have been getting lazy! I am still seriously thinking about removing the Annamia normani when I change everything over to the new river tank as they have taken over a large territory on the sand substrate and are constantly very aggressive to the S. lineolata adults. :? Trouble is, I feel guilty at the thought of hoiking them out of their home, but I don't like to see the Sewellia getting constant grief either.

Very cool, Emma! 8)
Its interesting that the A. normani push the Sewellia around. My Sewellia tend to rule the tanks they occupy.

Congratulation,

BUT - are you sure that theses are sewellias? Compared with my small sewellias … Annamia could match too.

Thanks all. :D

Felix, you're correct in that this isn't actually an S. lineolata! Now that it's had time to settle in a bit and colour up more, it's definitely another Sewellia sp. 'spotted' fry.

Here's a couple of pics I managed to get of this 'new' Sewellia sp. 'spotted' fry, taken a few days ago on the 10th (sorry, only just uploaded my latest batch of pics). As you can see, it's shows quite prominent markings already:

Got the cabinet of the new river tank built this evening, hopefully pipework should arrive tomorrow, then it'll be chaos moving everything over (everything except the Amano shrimps and possibly the Annamia, that is)..... :?
