Should I hookup my rena x3 after treatment?

Post by LoachOrgy » Wed Jul 11, 2007 4:09 pm

I was going to upgrade to a 120 gallon. however, i just had 4 loaches die. all the larger loaches. so the bio load will be less but do you think i should hook up my rena x3 with some bio media to run just in case. it may be a while before i upgrade tanks now.

I just treated the water for some problems so it will be a few days before i would hook this up. Is it safe to start running the x3 while i am having so many problems?

LO,

I hooked up both my Rena XP3s on my 55 gallon. Plus I have a Penguin Bio-Wheel going on the same tank. It's a lot of filtration, but my fish seem very happy and healthy.

I put both spray bars on one side of the tank and both uptake tubes on the other.

:)
