well i decided to sell my big tank and just get a smaller one , im pretty tired of a community so i wanted
a tank with just Kuhli Loaches casue there freaken awesome.
luckily my brother had a spare small jebo r311 tank that i could use for them (310(L)X250(W)X280(H)mm)

i was planning to get around 4-6 kuhli's

question is.. is this tank for too small for them? the tank will be filled with java ferns, hiding ornaments, sand-like gravel. im just curious cause they dont really require much space casue there so small and like hiding out all day, i just dont wanna make them uncomforatable, if there put in a tank they dont like.

thanks

I'd say its way too small, 21.7 liters. I read somewhere that the minimum tank size would be around 80 liters. And they aren't that small, ~10cm. Hope you get a bigger tank for them. Wouldn't put anything else than shrimps or snails in a tank this small.

I agree with janma, too small. I have 6 kuhlis in a 75cm x 30cm high tank (20g long) & they sometimes swim very fast, looping all around. I left the water level below the top for the first few months until I thought they wouldn't jump out.
How big is your current community tank? Maybe you can rehome those fish & put in kuhlis.
