Could someone suggest a loach?

Post by daspricey » Fri Jul 27, 2007 5:17 pm

Hi,

Well my geophagus isn't getting on with my weather loach who wont stand up for himself so i have to separate the two.(meaning i need to buy another tank)
The geophagus is a brasiliensis so the temperature is a little lower compared to other cichlids. Could someone suggest a loach that will stick up for it's self and will be OK with those temps(possibly 24*C) and in a rio 180.

Cheers

David

Ps, and i said no more tanks.

not too many loaches will defend themselves against aggressive fish...they are shy creatures and genarally only fight amongst themselves...as far as i know...and there are hardly any loaches living in that low temp, the weather loach was probably the only one you'll find for that tank temp...sorry

Oh well, i didn't think any would be really suitable. :?

I'll stick to fish who can stick up for themselves like RTBS.

Cheers

David
