The cabomba is starting to get going again and one of the windelov ferns has decided to root into the intake sponge.

That's looking good!
It looks like the algae is now on the rocks where the hillies like it.
What is that clump on the pieces of driftwood? Looks very cool.
Now you just need a couple of Sewellia in there to keep the gastros in line. :D

I thought I had seen that somewhere before...in pics at least.
I don't think I have ever seen that in any store. Its a cool looking plant.

I wondered the same thing about the plant on the driftwood. It looked too bushy to me to be Windelov. Prune it hard and often, Shari, or it will go everywhere.

Beautiful set up and nice pictures.

Your post also reminded me of the fish auction I went to because someone was selling a jug of green water. I guess its good for raising daphnia and someone did buy it for $1.

Yeah, it didn't seem to bother the fish at all. But boy, was it opaque for a while. Shame I didn't have any baby angels, I'd have stuck them in there. 8)

And yes, it does get bushy and bits of new plantlets go everywhere. Anybody want a bit? :P

Wonderful looking tank! Windelov, does tend to go a little crazy. Maybe your lfs will take any extra as trade or whatever, mine does.

Maybe? I have had a nice little method of gaining store credit by taking Windelov to the lfs. I look at the prices they charge in some stores around here and a conservative estimate means there's usually about $400 worth of the stuff in my Clown tank that Shari pictured.

Shair your tank looks beautiful now. That's a lovely rock-pile you have there and a good growth of algae by the look of it.

Martin.
