A reasonably full species list?

This is likely no news for some people here, but it was a pleasant surprise for me to discover a reasonably complete list of loach species:

Any opinions on the completeness/correctness of it?

Two things I've noticed is the old genus used for the clowns ("Botia macracanthus") but Pangio Javanicus is missing (P.Oblonga is in), so the list seems only a couple of years out of date. What other recent changes are lacking?

Pangio Javanicus is old name. Pangio Oblonga is recent.

The genus Botia has been split into Botia, Chromobotia, Syncrossus and Yasuhikotakia. Some previous Botia species are also now part of Leptobotia, Parabotia, and Sinibotia. There are other problems with the list. A better result comes from searching Fishbase.org for members of the families Cobitidae and Balitoridae. Sorry for the lack of italics - too many to bother with.

Thanks, Mark, I'll do just that. How about the hillstream list -- same problems?

What I want to do -- whenever time permits -- is to try to dig up images for all of them, to have an assist for ID'ing. I'm not concerned about the name changes, since I'll need to look under old names anyway, but more about having a reasonably complete list.
