Had 5 clown and someone gave me 2 more. But those 2 had ICH! I didnt realize until it was too late. All are dead but one. Out of 7 clowns i cant belive 6 died. I moved them into a quarantine tank 20 gallon. they died in there 2 days later. I emptied out the water and refilled it today it was nasty and whiteish cloud stuff everywhere on them. I have one clown left and 3 black skirt tetras with ich. Any one have tips? should i get rid ich or something? how do those melaflix or pimeflix work? thanks. i hope the last one doesn't die.

Melafix and pimafix do nothing against Ich. Rid Ich helps. Lots of water changes helps. Every water change you are vacuuming Ich off the floor of the tank (before it reproduces) and removing it from the water. Re-dose the Rid Ich with every water change to maintain therapeutic levels.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!

ick can easily wipe out a tank... you need to act the instant it is noticed (of course quarantining new fish is always recommended to, so no chance to introduce something into your existing tank).

There is a sticky at the top of the forum about it. I'd read that over well should answer most of your question.
