stocking ideas 240g

Post by crazy loaches » Sat Aug 18, 2007 11:15 pm

I was looking to see what others opinions may be. I'll be setting up a 240g soon I hope, and I havent decided for sure what all I'm going to stock it with. I am definatly taking my loaches from my 75g which are 6 clowns and I think 7 striata. What I'm thinking is to increase my current groups, like maybe up the clowns to 10-12, and striata to 16-18. I'll have other fish as well, but nothing but loaches for the lower level. You think that will do it? I was thinking of maybe one other species of loach, like sids but they are $12.99 (but this week 40% off so ~$7.80) or Kubotai (9.99 at petsmart), or maybe i should just stick with the two I have. Some other fish from my 75 will be 1 rainbow shark, 7 sae's, 2 florida flagfish (I have many more, but will be giving away probably). If the rainbow ever gets agressive I'll probably remove him but so far hes fine. New additions I'm wanting will be a group 6-10 Puntius denisoni (rose line shark) and ~2 dozen rummynose tetras.

So any suggestion welcome!

Look at some of the Barb species, I find them rather cool to look at.
