Yet another new species?

I saw the import availability list in a lfs today.
An item that caught my attention was (from memory)
Schistura cf. Poculi 3"
*I think* the trade name was something like "Sand Zebra Redtail".
Anyone has any info on these?
(I'm interested in knowing more since Poculi's worked very nicely for me for the last couple of years: non-violent and mixable with anything. However, Poculi's do have a firm size limit at a bit over 2"... a similar 3" fish would be quite nice if it exists...)

I noticed something just like this for the first time at the lfs recently, I beleive the label read Redtail Zebra Loach. After finding it in the tank it looked just like the second pic here:

Schistura mahnerti is frequently referred to in the trade as 'Redtailed Zebra Sand Loach'.

Yes, Emma, including the thai list previously. It may be Mahnerti indeed, but then why did the exporter use a new species designation?
If this pops up on your list too and you have any additional info, I'll really appreciate anything about it. [the dilemma: if it is indeed a peaceful 3" species, I would love it.. but convincing anyone to order it based on guesses is not nice.]

Probably, to get stores to order them.....
But I will keep an eye out for you in case anything new under that description crops up on my lists.
