Can clown or YoYo loaches get along with Panda Cory's? I have a 29 gallon tank with a 15 gallon sump, undergravel jets and lots of rocks, caves and plants. I have had the Panda's for quite a while and eventually will move the whole setup to a bigger tank, but before adding any loaches I wanted to make sure they wouldn't pick on the Panda's. Any thoughts?

Hi erfigge and welcome to LOL. I have 13 Clowns as big as 5-6" in a 6 foot tank with
Corydoras aneus. There are 3 adults and their babies. The Clowns never bothered the Corys at all. There's also 3
Botia kubotai in there and they're OK as well.
Here's the crazy gang......
Martin.

I don't have the numbers of loaches that others have, but I do have one tank (72 gallon bowfront) that has, among other inhabitants, just the combination that you describe. I have four Panda Corys, two 3 inch Clowns and two 3 inch YoYos. No problems at all.

My clowns were fine with the pandas, but the yoyos were too rowdy and would bowl the pandas over. I moved the yoyos to another tank. Now everybody's happy.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I think I am going to go with some clowns until they get to big for this setup and move them into their bigger tank.
