They should really be called Hooligan loaches. The black dorsal stripe isn't a skunk stripe, its a mohawk.

Really like your Do-Jo - it has stunning markings, very defined.
Like the small shoal of Tetras too... what type are they?

Thanks for the pictures

Glow light tetras. They're much brighter in reality. They're almost transparent except for a pair of stripes near their dorsal area, which glows neon red under an aquarium light.

Beautiful loaches Rocco. 8) Keep a very close eye on those Skunks though. Despite their diminutive size they are usually very aggressive (which intesnifies as the fish mature) and I would not put them in the same tank as clown loaches myself.

Thanks Emma and yes, I am keeping a close eye on the little hooligans. I think I'll be putting them in a 50 gallon tank all to themselves and possibly getting a few more. So far, they are actually getting along with the Clowns and Shoaling with them.

They're all in the growout transition. The clowns will be put in a large pond with a nice flow care of filter pumps once they've grown a bit and once the pond is ready (January). That should see them grow into their 12" plus size.

As I said, the skunks will get a 50 all to themselves and I'm thinking of getting some Kubs or Striatas to populate my 80 once all the fish in it grow.

Also in the works is a long tank for hillstreams.

I never have luck mixing a lot of other fish with my skunk loaches. Despite the 2 inches size, the skunks have murdered two yoyo loaches and one fellow skunk loach. Last time, I had these little hooligans, they coexisted well in the community.

Nice loaches, Rocco.;) I've never seen any more weather loaches yet but someday I might. The last time I had one was practically a long time ago, probably 7 years.

I just did a strip and clean, thoroughly cleaning my aquarim. Boy it was dirty.

I moved the Dojos in with the clowns and moved the hooligan skunks into a 10 gallon tank for the mean time. I'll have new tanks coming in this friday.
