I have one in my 75g tank and i am probably going to get a larger tank soon.
Anyone know a good place to order more? Just found out that they are shoalers
If you think you know of an aquarium I could donate it to in the South Mississippi (USA) area or someone who has a tank that will be big enough for it when it reaches full size let me know!

You will certainly need a bigger tank for this non-loach.

They just don't get attractive as they grow no matter how much I am tempted to get some of these cute fish plus the size really peeves me.

Good lord! 40"?!?

These guys are potential monsters and definite tankbusters. If you absolutely want to keep a shoal of them, you'll probably need a large plot of land with a large river running through it.

And if I had that, I'd just breed loaches.

This thread may also be of interest, as there are a lot of photographs which show the sort of size this fish attains: http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/f ... +asiaticus

I'm trying to find out if any of our local aquariums would be willing to "adopt it" when it reaches full size but so far am having no luck... :(
I have to say though that picture of the Adult is probably the most amazing pic i've seen in a while
Right now i guess i'll keep it for now until it gets too big as it has quite a personality!
