Hi. I just recently bought two Kuhli Loaches and there are a lot of questions I have about them. For instance, what do I feed them and how much and often? I have them in with two of my Bridgs Apple Snails. I also noticed that I don't see much of them in the day time, but I do see them a lot at night when the lights are off. Are they nocturnal like my snails are?

Please post more details. Size of tank and tankmates in particular. Yes, kuhlis are nocturnal and are less bolder when kept in lesser numbers or few hiding places.

They can consume sinking foods, tubifex worms, bloodworms, etc.

i will leave the advising to those who have experience with khulis, but i will say that i hope you enjoy them and to beware of catching "the bug"

We'd need to know more about any other fish in the tank. Kuhlis do not require a great deal of food, but if you've got other fish, you need to make sure that not all of the food is being snapped up before it gets to the floor of the tank. Good flake food, thawed frozen blood worms... The trouble with bloodworms is that you're going to get more from one thawed cube than two kuhlis can eat in a week.

Make sure you vacuum out any uneaten food, and do regular water changes. Remember that these are river fish, so they have no tolerance for stale water.
