One of my females died today. she got stuck with her head above the water. Beats me how she came to this.

But making the best of it i took some pictures after gently pressing on her big belly.

She always was very big. and then at some point wasn't but soon after she got huge again. I always knew it was a female but now i am sure :(

i'm really anoyed that she got tangled up behind the filter pipes. and disapointed ofcourse...

I have the fish for about 7 month's and i bought them around 5/6cm so how come she has eggs so young? if i read about clowns the are fairly old befare spawning.

Very sad - if only all those little eggs could be new Yoyos!

I wonder if it's possible for a male to still fertilize them???

My gravid yoyo was young and small, too. Seems they can become gravid at an early age/size. May not mean the eggs are viable, though.

I have a couple of fat ones too. Hard to tell if they are just scooping up all of the food or are filled with eggs.
