Figured its bout time I posted up pictures of the clown/botia tank. Its far from complete-back still needs painted, holes drilled in the lid for the powerheads and other external, couple more bags of sand added and more bogwood which is still soaking; we all know what men are like when they are asked to do something, always gets put off
But yea here it is so far;

Very nice tank Ashleigh and beautiful loaches. Your bogwood is great, especially the tall piece on the right.

lovely tabk and lovely fish. its nice to see so many small ish clowns in a nice big tank.

is that a dario in the 4th picture? and that clown in no. 7 has very pretty markings

Thanks for the kind comments The bogwood came with an old tank I bought years ago for free, *bargin!* theres some nice big holes in the back for the loaches, pity how Botis almorhae hate to share with Botia striata

No Botia dario Helen, just the three species, I did consider very carefully in Emmas to get some but the stocking would be to heavy, I swear the way that these are going a bigger tank will be needed soon

Asheigh, you know you really should post more pictures than you do - these are excellent! The loaches all look to be in superb condition. It's great to see Stumpy joining in with the rest of the gang, he looks to be no less agile.

Thanks Emma. I do have more pictures to post of the community, Ive been busy trying to take pictures of everyone and some are less than helpful, they shall follow within the next few days
About Stumpy-the way he swims I have a few doubts over his future unless someone here believes otherwise. The way in which he swims, the body is shaped like an upside down 'u' shape; surely this would cause a lot of unnecessary pressure especially when he gets bigger on certain areas, never mind internal organs? or do you think he will adapt? He doesn't seem to be in pain, but the size these can grow to, Im not sure if the weight strain would be to much for him eventually?
