The process of democratization of South Africa was accompanied by the excellent music of the Mango Grooves. A fusion of jazz and African rhythms.

Impossible to listen to their music without having some parts of your body beginning to move at the pace of their drums.

The early part sounded hauntingly like O Danny Boy.
Liked the jazzed up Irish dancing, too. 8)

You're right Shari, never thought of that. I suppose that it's the sound of the pennywhistle which reminds of Irish music.
