Overstocked with Red Cherry Shrimp

Post by dlenn » Mon Jun 28, 2010 1:56 pm

Since Madduff gave us some Red Cherry Shrimp and we bought some more to boost the numbers from our local Maidenhead Aquatics in Woking with the Fish Mind Tricks working exceptionally well we are now overrun with Cherry Shrimp. Overrun to the point where we are putting some in with the Goldfish for them to eat.

However, our Goldfish were behind the door and round the corner when they gave out the brains. They eat a few then the rest get crafty and hide in plain sight!

So if anyone wants any in the Surrey, UK area let us know. Free to almost any home at this point! They overran the loach tank, so we netted loads out into the Q tank which is now overrun with Shrimp too. I'd say they breed like rabbits, but no, they breed like shrimp, much faster!

Im glad they did well, I have just had to start a new tank for my shrimps, I was over run with them myself until I got the serpenticobitis, I think they like shrimp as the tank is now empty of them
