ALBINO ANCISTRUS

HI ALL NEW TO THIS FORUM

ive just bought a 3-4cm albino ancistrus and was thinking of buying it a mate of the opposite sex, how do you tell the difference between male and female ? am i right in thinking it is to do with the bristle's ? mine currently has got no bristles if it should do would it have any at a such a small size

They usually show sex-differences at around 6cm.
Then the males will develop bristles on their noses.
(females will grow very small bristles as well, but now way as large as males)

So you'll just have to wait a bit for him/her to grow.
Don't worry it won't take very long :D
