depressed goldfish?

Post by emi-chan » Tue Jul 27, 2010 6:23 pm

i had to take one of my 2 goldfish from my tank as it needs treated for injuries and i was just wondering if the disappearance of her friend would make the remaining goldfish lonely or sad or bored even?

i'm asking since she's being extra destructive and completely ruined my plants after about 4 days and she spends a considerable amount of time just swimming around the walls of the tank...

Hmm most fish that I know of become withdrawn when lonely but I'll assume they can become like spoiled children and throw temper tantrums too :) funny how like us they can be huh?

I am sure that social fish miss their friends. Can you set them up in tanks that they can see each other while treatment is going on?
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
