Where can i get Fembendazole (sp) or the medicatiosn to fight skinny disease? I feel i will have a battle on my hand after i saw one of my loaches suffering from it

Here's where i got my flubendazole. Fenbendazole is sold as canine wormer, mine is "safe-guard", in most pet stores. I soak food in fenben and feed as it's less soluble. I use fluben to treat the tank.

How is PraziPro? Is it effective or should i get the Leva HCL or Fluben?

Each treats for different groups of worms. I used Levamisol followed by Prazi on one group of Loaches where the Levamisole did not seem to be enough.

Is the loach eating?

There is a de-worm flake food that might work. It has Fenbendazole in it, which will treat the fish for roundworms.

I'm currently using this flake to see if it helps some of my small clowns grow. They're eating it up, so it is something that my clowns like to eat.

I've had luck with Prazipro also. It's good for treating fish infected with flatworms.

Levamisole HCL is off the market and you probably won't find it anywhere. If you do find it, it's probably been sitting on the shelf for 1+ years and might not be effective anymore.

According to Charles, in the link that I posted, flubendazole treats a wide range of maladies including ich. I've been using it as a prophylactic treatment for all new fish in quarantine lately. I've had no problems, but there were no signs of any problems to begin with so I can't say that it's actually done anything? I did have a hillstream tank that was losing fish to wasting. I treated several times with levamisole with no results. Flubendazole treatment cured the tank, no problems since. It also eliminated the nuisance pond snails in the tank which I suspected of being hosts to the parasites.

They are pigs with blood worms. They are veyr small loaches (babies pretty much) so im worried they might have skinny disease cause one of my other loaches had it and i didnt realize... Now im thinking they will all get it. They seem to eat and are plenty active. The one problem i can see is that my big fish pick off the food before it gets to the bottom. Rose line barbs are vicious eaters lol+

It seems by my experience that most healthy fish can fight off the effects of internal parasites etc., much like most dogs have some sort of worms but show no signs of illness. If a fish gets weakened for whatever reason the problem becomes serious and it can lose the battle.
I use a turkey baster to feed bottom fish when necessary and it works well. After they figure out that it's not a threat and contains food, loaches will come right up and take bloodworms from the tube. It's also easy to soak some bloodworms in fenbendazole(safe-guard canine wormer for one)for an hour or so and feed them.

Here's another place for medicated food, works good if the fish are eating & will eat flakes. I recently had to treat my panda garra & histrionicas with them for a bacterial issue with the kanamycin flake.

I used the fenbendazole flake with my juvie discus seemed to work as well but their issue was slight ( sometimes white poo)
