i recently have bought 21 clowns. they are doing fine except that some are getting skinny and emaciated no matter how much they eat. i have had this problem with loaches before aswell and theyve allways died. ssome body at a fish store i went to said its something internal that lies dormant in the fishes and sometimes i see nearly all the fish at some stores have this problem. does anybody else know why this happens to my loaches, what its called or what are some medications for it?

Praziquantel is used to kill flatworms.
Levamisole is used to kill roundworms.
Antibiotics are used to treat secondary infections.
Get some Prazipro from your Tropical Fish Store and treat the fish with that first. In the meantime, you'll have to find some Levamisole, which might be more difficult to find, especially if you live outside the USA. It's easiest to find it on the internet at farming supply stores. Here's a place where I got mine at-
