tilting clown loach
Hi guys can anyone advise me, I transfered two clown to a about 4ft tank, brought another 3, also seem to well.. however a little bit last night & this 1 my clowns keep hang in centre of tank, but keeping leaning to the left, some times nearly makes her go upside down, but quickly gets back in to normal poistion. It is almost like it to lazy to hold poistion, use fin one side, then when tilting uses all its fins. I have every I thought I'd remember forgot, all waters test are fine, the other clowns are fine & there is no sign of a disese ie fins are not clamped, alert easting n so on, if you put your hand in tank it swims super fast. I don't understand why? Any suggestion, I don't no if she messing with me? Be grateful for advice even if is bad news! Cheers

Very common. Even worse they will fall asleep on their side or upside down. They are indeed out to scare you.
Some do this more than others, though. So it is common that you had a few that did not show this behavior and now a new one does do odd things like this.

38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
Happy fish keeping!

Its surprising to see at first, its still a behaviour that still makes me smile everytime, there are 3 main ones in my group that will line up at the front and do this early evening each night..... I like to think it as the fish are happy enough to expose themselves and 'relax' as they feel confident and content in the tank that they are in, whether theres much truth in that I dont know, but its what I like to think
