Hello again. This one has recently been shipped and has some dark spot clearly visible on both sides:

right

For some reason it disturbs me a lot.
What is that?

Looks like a natural beauty mark (pigmentation defect). I have a clown that has a whitish colored beauty mark. Nothing wrong with it, other than being unique.

Thanks, chefkeith.
I would be happy to relax, but it really looks more like some nasty problem with internal organs showing through skin. And after several days the spots had gotten darker

Here's a new photo, the spot is clearly darker than it was. And on the second clown there's a similar one, not so visible yet, but there it is.

I've seen black spots being caused by sudden water parameter changes also. If that isn't the problem, then I don't know what else to tell you other than you should quarantine and treat any new fish for the most common parasites. You shouldn't trust new arrivals even if they looked perfectly healthy.

Do you have any non-organic decorations that isn't intended for aquarium use? I've heard that some plastics kan give fish dark spots, however if only one fish have this problem, it's probably not it.
Beautiful tank by the way!
