ok about a week ago i noticed on of my CLOWNS had some white film on its body , i knew it wasnt ick , but it did concern me . so i did a waterchange , tested old water and new , both were fine ?

so i decided to qt the guy , and treat the tank with some salt and a bit of heat , all other loaches 6 of them were fine , within 2 days , it was gone and the white slime coat had shed , so i added it back to main tank and , boom today its back !!

i cant find much info on this , i have done research and came up wiht nothing

i do bi-weekly 40% wcs , tank is 210gal ,2 eheim 2229 wet/dry , and one fx5 , also a 25 watt uv , my other fish are fine but i did add 2 itt dats about 2 weeks ago , any help would be great

i can provide any other info as needed .

Have a look here to see if anything looks like it.
This does not look like Columnaris, to me.

Look especially at I or J. Also look around more at that site under headings like Bacterial Disorders, and Changes in Color.

ya looked at the site , and when the slime coat is peeling off , like it is right now , the skin is not red , or bleeding ? it actually looks normal ??

very strange ..

Maybe it's similar to the problem in this thread -

If so, it's a glandular dysfunction.

If it is from some sort of irritation (parasite, water chemistry), then the fish would shed the slime coat. that is part of the way they protect themselves from their environment: Produce excess slime coat then shed it to remove whatever is bothering them. Salt is one of the irritants that can make fish produce more slime coat. 1 teaspoon per 20 is a very low dose.
