A while back I bought some vitamins for my fish, but I have neen too worried to use them. It is called V3 --Vitamins , Amino Acids and Trace Minerals. It is from a company name H2O Life. You put the vitamins in the food to be absorbed by the fish.

Is it safe to use?

Thanks.

I don't know much about fish vitamins but I have never heard of people using them and I have never heard of ANYONE recommend them. I think I would stick to natural vitamins and minerals. Tubifex worms and bloodworms are fine for amino acids and adding algae wafers should provide all your fishes with everything they need.

Unless you have any fish with very special requirments :D

I had a tank go bad a couple months ago. I have it stable again, but I thought the vitamins would help make the fish feel better.

I can only get frozen blood worms and freeze dried tubifex. My fish aren't really interested in the freeze dried tubifex. Blood worms are welcome. I feed about 15 types of foods on a rotating basis.

I have seen a couple of different formulas for fish vitamins and supplements. If they were really harmful I do not think they would be sold, but who knows.
You could try half dose or something and see how it goes.

I never believe all the claims on the packages of vitamins for animals or people. Every week it seems they are coming out with new claims that a particular vitamin is better than they thought for something, or else proven not to help with something.
