My golden dojo loach developed a brown spot on its head, about the size of a uni-brow. Over the next month or so, it has grown to the size of a pea. My loach is acting fine, and none of the other fish have it. What happened?

I wonder if he bumped into something, and this is a bruise?

I don't know, he does "run around" a lot. But would it still be there after 2 months?

One of my yoyo [dojo] loaches developed a brown spot behind its right gill in May! It's not a lump but it is the size of a one of the smiley faces in diameter. The loach is showing no signs of illness and none of the others have broken out in brown spots. I just think it's a mark ..... possibly doing something silly as these loaches are want to do. I don't have any 'cures' but I don't think you need panic. Good luck.
