Lowering Heat just a bit
I`m wanting to get some yoyos for my loach tank. Would my Clowns be ok at 77f? I`m also wanting to lower the temp for my dojos since i`ve been told they`ll do better at lower temps ( they`re doing awesome at 80f ) . I just can`t imagine the knuckleheads acting any happier but who knows. My main concern is I don`t want to harm my precious Clown Loaches.

You wouldn't want to keep Clowns any lower than 77F (25C). This is at the lowest end of their range, and at the highest end of the weather loaches range. Ideally, you want separate tanks for these two species as their temperature requirements are quite different. If you do choose to keep your Clowns at a lower temp, be sure to watch out for signs of stress - whitespot (ich) being one of them.
I keep my Clowns no lower than 82F.
