Now that I'm looking again, I think mick may be right. Doesn't look like a clown (or what would be left of one).

Yeah, I can tell by the markings that that is most certainly not a clown loach. I'm not sure what it is. It could be a yoyo, but I'm not sure. I'm only certain that that is not a clown.

Something of a mystery?

Thanks all,

My cat is inocent (at least of taking fish out from water). He was a kind of hero here, bringing me the fish for me to take it back to the water. Ok... without the head and caudal fin... :P

Hey Mick,
You´re absolutelly right!
After posting here I noticed that my alpha YoYo loach was missing. At first I thought on a Clown because of size of the carcass but dorsal fin was not matching one of a Clown. Did not see my Alpha YoYo since that. So, you´re probably right!

Thanks again!

Thats an unfortunate loss of life Marcos. At least you had a learning experience. The PVC tubes look good. Nicely obscured with the rocks.
So hows things in the tank? Have the Yo Yos established a new alpha?

Hi Robert,

Thanks for posting.
Have the Yo Yos established a new alpha?
It is hard to say as they keep ghosting each other all day long. They are probably trying to stablish a new pecking order.

Sorry to hear about your loss :(

Tank is looking wonderful btw
Marcos Mataratzis wrote:Hi Shari,
Wonder why the cat would go for the head and tail and leave the middle?
Good question! Why he eat the head and tail leaving the best part for me?
I don´t have a clue...
Brain and area were eggs are produced and held are of the highest nutrition and energy-bears only feed on these parts, and discard the rest of the fish when the salmon come to spawn-maybe your kitty has the same idea??? :?

Not sure which one is the bear. The one with glasses or the one with the fancy bra?
