Strong marble loaches!!
Decided to clean my large Eheim today and what do I find inside? Two marble loaches and 4 young kribs!! I got these loaches as a group of 6 on sale on boxing day. I noticed about 2-3 weeks later I was down to four and thought that 2 had died and been eaten by the other fish in the community tank. To my surprise they have been hanging out in the filter since then!!
They were a little skittish at first and I could seen some muscle loss as they had trouble swimming at first but within 15 minutes they were rocketing around the tank, happy it would seem to be free!!

Ah right, hadn't heard that one before. Lee's histies used to occasionally disappear into the internal filter in his old juwel. It was only when we dismantled the tank to set up a new one that we discovered a very skinny individual that we assumed has died long before!
Good job you found them when you did. Surprising they can live in there for as long really...
