No, Guildford is in "Tha Sarf" (sarf-west of London), and Chesterfield is "North of Watford", otherwize known as "Oop North".
Everything North of Watford in Hertfordshire is "Oop North" and inhabited by strange humanoids called "Northerners" who eat black-pudding for breakfast and support "Manchesta Yoonaytid" and "Noooocazzle".
Northerners usually have to stop at the Motorway Services at Watford Gap on the M1 Motorway (which isn't actually anywhere near Watford) and have their passports stamped by an official from "T' Sarf". After consuming a Happy Meal, they may then continue on their journey south in their ox-carts and are then authorised to enter "T' Smoke", otherwize known as London.
However, several years ago, the city was ringed by security gates and one must pay a fee to enter with a vehicle. The premise of this was security and traffic reduction, but it's real purpose is to deter Northerners from entering the sacred city of The Sarf. They don't like parting with their money.......unless it's to buy Loaches that is
Now, I know that at least once, an adventurous Northerner ventured somewhat east of Watford into an area known as "Eeast Anglieeerr Boyee". Technically, this is still kind of Oop North, but sort of sarf-east norf if you get my meaning.
I know he did some bartering with a trader from The Sarf who now runs a business in the west side of Mid-Eeast Anglieeerr Boyee near a place called "Peederburra". Apparently, he took home some Loaches and headed Norf oop t' A1 to Noooocazzle.

How dare you make such a slanderous (er...libelous?) connotation. Ain'nt not nuttin wrong with us wiltshire folk, you! We got nothing but love and respect for our fluffy farmyard friends and we take great pride in 'rearing' our flock. This I know.....I thought the locals called it Brizzle?
They be strange folk fer sure.
Anyhow, this guy from The Sarf is going to be spiritually in Le Sarthe this weekend. Le Sarthe being another name for the Le Mans 24-hour sports car race.
So I'm camping in front of my TV and watching the Speed TV Channel starting in a couple of hours or so. I know that Emma and Steve are Grand Prix fans (as am I), but my first love is Le Mans. This year has the potential to be a classic.
Fish 'n' Fast Cars.......cool!
