Purple Leptobotia

In China...we call it “Purple Leptobotia” ...
but the color of mature fish is golden and black...
the young baby may be purple...

Scientific name: Leptobotia taeniops (Suavage, 1878)

Common name: Purple Leptobotia

Distribution: “Changjiang”river ，China.

In conclusion “vivacious locah and have a good appetite”

But why? Emma has always received plenty of loaches never seen before but why not this one or was it the rules and regulations?:?

Due to the fact this is a temperate species the chances of import into GB are very limited due to the (daft) regs.
