Strawberry?

Post by megadeath » Sat Aug 09, 2008 8:35 am

I've just now gone and opened the fridge to find a lovely punnet of strawberry's, so naturally
my first thought was "I wonder if the fish would like them"
so... Could I feed strawberry to my Loaches or would that be a bad idea.

I can´t see why not. Loaches accepts many vegetables but keep in mind to put it cut in round pieces unpeeled. Also remember to remove uneaten pieces ASAP.

Cool thanks marcos,
I was just worried about any effect the seeds might have on their intestinal tract but I'll just peel them first.
Hopefully they like it as much as broccoli and cucumber.

All my fish nibble at strawberries and raspberries - although the BN's and the rainbows seem to really Love them. I'd say Melon and Potatoe is more my loaches choice :)

Yeah I tried the strawberry and they didn't really like it which I thought was a bit weird considering how much they love honeydew melon.
