Loach collecting

Is it possible to go on a loach collecting trip? Is this feasible? Do you need special papers to authorize you to go into a country and collect fish in its native waters? Do you have to organize a group to go along? Anyone know how much this costs?

i've got a couple of mates that have been collecting , i'll ask what they had to do.
