I didn't buy them in person and haven't been to that LFS for a few weeks so I'd be guessing at the answers to all those questions, but I can tell you that they had a whole tank of them labelled as rostrata on their own so it's clear they're not 'contamination'.Botia Robert wrote:Well Done there. They were bought by a friend who thought they looked interesting, looked them up in a book they had in the shop and bought them only because the book said categorically that they have a max size of 7cm.
When I showed him several sources which had them getting to 20cm he offloaded them onto me PDQ, being somewhat allergic to bigger fish. My 7-foot tank already has eight striata and a solitary yoyo so they'll fit right in.
