6 Clown Loaches - Pasadena Area

Post by peterthefish » Fri Oct 10, 2008 4:41 pm

Hey guys, I have had a disaster: my 60 gallon aquarium cracked a panel over our hard wood floors (and we rent) so we need to get rid of our livestock. I would really like to give these guys to an enthusiast who would be willing to send me pictures of them occasionally. The school that my girlfriend works for offered to buy them from me but I don't feel like they have the expertise to handle them. If someone can shoot me a pic of their setup so I can see that they will be in good hands I would love for you to pick them up tonight. I am very sad to see them go but I cannot afford a $10K accident like this almost caused (it remains to be seen if the floors will buckle).

Peter, I'm very sorry to hear it. You sound like you really love your clowns, too. Wouldn't you rather replace your tank?

I would love to apply for adoption of a couple of them but...

1) I only have a 55 gal tank & am raising 3 clown frys in my communtiy

.........................and............................

2) I don't live anywhere close to Pasadena

Good Luck on the home placement....

Well- thanks for the offer. I would like to keep them together as a family, though. They seem to really like each other. And, just to clarify, I am in Pasadena, California. I was in a rush when I posted this and forgot to include that tidbit.

If you still have your loaches I would love to care for them. I have a 240 gal tank housing 7 clowns, 4 yoyos, 1 pokadot loach, and a busynose pleco. I live in Torrance CA so I could pick them up from you.
