help with clown

Post by cloudgodd » Tue Nov 11, 2008 8:40 pm

I noticed this morning I was missing a clown...after searching for him I found him he was severely grayed out breathing heavy really heavy and he has a couple and I mean a couple of white spots but they a hard to see.. I Q tanked him and I am raising the temp to 86 F now .

Is this ich or something else? here a 2 pic I was able to get.

I can't tell. Can you circle the white spots you are talking about?

Have the spots gotten any more obvious overnight? Ich takes about 24 hours for me to see it growing from "I think something is there" to "ICH!"
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!

nope no more spots than that this morning but he seems to be doing better I dosed him last night with half dose of quick rid and a dose of metafix and the tank wont get hotter than 82 F. he is still breathing heavy but he is swimming around and eating more.

That probably is Ich. If so, You'll have to treat the main tank for a few weeks as well to completely eradicate the Ich.
