New golden dojo's

Post by Pywakyt » Sun Nov 16, 2008 8:22 pm

So after being set straight by you guys I have just added 4 baby golden dojo's to my family. I say baby because they are about a quarter of the size of my 5 year old one. The store only had 4 so I of course got them all..much to the dismay of the fish catcher who aperently HATES catching these guys lol.

I had the same thing happen when I bought some new black kuhlies as buddies for my lonely little guy. The woman working the fish area of the store had to call over her manager to catch them because she said it is too hard to for her to catch them. I offered to do it but they said that an employee had to do it.

Some times it is funny watching the fish catchers cluelessly trying to net them. After watching my guy chasing one of the dojo's around I told him please do not chase them I can wait. I did not want my new babies stressed out any more then they were already going to be. He was annoyed at this but at least stopped chasing them.

Make sure you post pictures. :) After the Q-tank let us know how the old timer reacts to new friends. Get them some floating plants and they will all lounge.

I usually try to corner them and let them swim into the net or dig up the gravel they are hiding in up in the net along with them.
