I was wondering that, TOO, Starsplitter.

Graeme...I thought the Pangio Kuhliis were striped & the others were called by another name?

I added the 2 last P. Kuhliis (that I left behind 2 Sat's ago at my LFS)...so now I have 8. And still occasionally only can see maybe 2 at any given time :lol:

Sea Sprite, if you look at the species index, on the link above, you can see there are lots of different species of "khuli loach".

Pangio is the name of the genus (a bit like we have surnames), and Pangio khulii is just one species. Khuli has become a common or colloquial for all of the pangios, so although a khuli scientiffically refers to only 1 species of loach, some shops sell any sort of pangio as a khuli, just to be confusing!

so by the look of it, Graeme does have several different species of pangio there. somebody else will have to tell you the different names, i am no good at pangio ID

Tanja, i've got two little Microsynodontis sp in there and that is indeed one of them. Lovely little fish that seem peaceful with others and luckily these chaps are slow growers. Mine are just over 1 inch TL. :D
